The Fiber: Sorona is made from 37% renewable, plant-based materials like glucose derived from corn. It is commonly used as a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional nylon or spandex.

Our Recycled Polyester is also tested & OEKO-TEX certified to ensure free from harmful chemicals.
  • Use Cold Water: Always use cold or lukewarm water (below 86°F/30°C). Hot water can damage synthetic fibers like spandex and cause them to lose their stretch.
  • Turn Inside Out: Most sweat, body oils, and bacteria accumulate on the inside of the garment. Turning it inside out ensures a deeper clean and protects exterior colors or logos.
  • Skip Fabric Softener: Fabric softeners and dryer sheets leave a waxy residue that clogs the pores of technical fabrics, reducing their ability to wick moisture and trap odors.
  • Use Special Detergents: Consider using detergents specifically formulated for activewear, such as Persil Activewear Clean, HEX Performance, or Rockin' Green. These are designed to break down body oils and odors in cold water without damaging the fabric.
